Dying To Do Yoga?
Visitors and those strolling Williamsburg, New York on Sunday saw a strange sight: 100 zombies doing yoga in the East River State Park.
Zombies doing yoga? The gathering was coordinated by Jason Wishnow, a director who plans to use the strange scene in his film that will promote the book “The Zen of Zombie: Better Living Though the Undead.”
The book focuses on learning how to remain in a calm, focused state throughout your life, and the event attracted a number of unpaid extras who came from the local yoga community. “This is actually a bigger hit among the yoga community than the zombie community,” Wishnow mentioned during the filming.
No one was harmed in the filming. Because of the disciplined routine, though, a few of the participants were filmed “losing” an arm or leg during the poses.
