De-stress with breath

Guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has developed a program combining light yoga with breathing exercises that’s designed to relieve tension and stress.

Along with 50 other men and women who sat mostly in silence, eyes closed, Linda Mays was doing what comes naturally: She was breathing. But this wasn’t just inhaling and exhaling - there was a rhythm and a ritual that went with it.
After a couple of hours, when she stood up, she said the stress she felt when she walked in had vanished. “This really works for me,” she said.
